‘SPORTS BRIEFS’ POLICY
The Southern Standard’s ‘Sports Briefs’ are provided as a courtesy to our readers who wish to publicize their sporting events (tournaments, camps, sign-ups, etc.)
‘Sports Briefs’ are printed in the Standard sports section each Sunday, providing space in the section allows. Announcements will run, free of charge, in the two Sunday editions prior to the event. Exceptions to that policy can be made, particularly when the announcement applies, for example, to not-for-profit organizations’ events or for multiple-week youth league registration periods.
If you have an announcement you would like to be included in the ‘Sports Briefs,’ e-mail your information to sports@southernstandard.com, fax to 473-6823, or call 473-2191, ext. 241.
