Johnny Gene Rubley, 70

Johnny Gene Rubley, 70, of McMinnville (Harrison Ferry community) died Friday, Jan. 25 at River Park Hospital.

He was born on Oct. 27, 1937 in Grundy County, and was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Lena Pearl Thompson Rubley, and a brother Bill Rubley. Mr. Rubley was the owner of B&A Market.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law Debra and Gary Lovell of Manchester; sons, Bruce and Danny Rubley, both of McMinnville; brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles and Marilyn Rubley of Waynetown, Ind., E.C. and Dean Rubley, Jack and Mary Rubley, James E. (Jim) Rubley, and David and Judy Rubley, all of McMinnville; sister and brother-in-law, Christine and Gary Panter of McMinnville; sister-in-law, Pat Rubley of Sterling Heights, Mich., grandchildren, Beth and Kirk Burnett, Laura Rubley, and Crystal and Shawn Finger, and great-grandchildren, Dallas Burnett, Jakob Burnett, and Gavin Finger.

Funeral service was held Saturday in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. George Roberts officiated. Interment followed at King Cemetery in Grundy County. Online condolences may be made at www.mcminnvillefuneralhome.com.
