Beacon holds 1-point lead in Gold & Silver

After Tuesday’s round in the Gold and Silver bowling league, Foster and Foster Realty is in first place with 34 points.

Beacon Federal is in second with 33.5, Jones Twins Beauty Salon and Security Federal are tied for third place with 32.5 points each. Dr Pepper and Holder Realty have 27.5 points each. Crouch Motors has 26, First National Bank 25.5, Cumberland Lumber 22, McMinnville Lanes and Warren County Nursery have 20.5 points each.

In team play Foster and Foster Realty had the high game of the day with a 659 and high series with a 1889.

For the women, Doris Flosi had the high game of the day with a 194 and she turned in a 475 series. High series went to Linda Hibshman with a 484 and she turned in a 167 game. Linda Newby rolled a 174 game with a 470 series. Mary Ray had a 169 game and a 450 series. Ida Pack rolled a 165 game and a 471 series. Jean Simmons turned in a 170 game and Frances Hobbs had a 177 game.

Gene Wilcher posted the high game of the day for the men with a 210. High series went to Larry Patton with a 547. John White rolled a 202 game and David Adams had a 196 game. Gene Money turned in a 188 game and a 480 series. Jack Newby had a 187 game and a 484 series. Richard Hobbs had a 186 game with a 498 series. Larry Tittsworth had a 487 series and Billy Hayes turned in a 488 series.
