Judge Ross hears 55-person docket
A 55-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court.
Included in court action:
‘ Julio D. Perez was ordered to serve 90 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $850 plus costs and lose his license for two years for second-offense DUI and driving on a revoked license. The sentence is to be served in addition to time he owes for violation of probation.
‘ Juan C. Grandados was directed to serve 24 hours of an 11-29 sentence, perform 24 hours public service work, pay $350 plus costs and lose his license for one year for DUI.
‘ Alberto Ramirez was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $150 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for possession of drug paraphernalia.
‘ Erik D. Wirgau was bound to the grand jury on charges of simple possession of drugs and driving on a suspended license.
‘ Mateo M. Perez must serve 10 days and pay $50 plus costs for driving without a license.
‘ Ismael S. Morales must serve 48 hours and pay $50 plus costs for driving without a license.
‘ Bradley Anderson was given a six-month probationary sentence, was fined $50 plus costs and must perform 16 hours public service work for harassment.
‘ Charles M. Gibbs was fined $50 plus costs for violation of the open container law.
‘ Carl Nunley Jr., must perform 24 hours public service work and pay $50 plus costs for underage consumption of alcohol.
‘ Jorge Garcia, Omar R. Martinez, John R. McElroy, and Charles R. Norris were all fined $10 plus costs for driving without a license.
