Mayor Royce Davenport was named as 3rd vice president of the Tennessee Municipal League during the Nov. 14 Tennessee Municipal League board meeting held in Nashville. TML is a voluntary, cooperative organization established by the cities and towns of Tennessee for mutual assistance and improvement. The league?s primary function is to lobby the Tennessee General Assembly on behalf of city governments. Before being nominated and voted 3rd vice president, Davenport was the district director of District 4.
