Cruise-in to take place downtown Saturday

The final cruise-in of the year will be held downtown Saturday night, with the McMinnville Cruisers car club playing host to over 50 vehicles of all shapes and sizes.

“They range from T-Models to brand new models,” said Jeanann Knudson of the local club which holds several such meets during the spring and summer months. “Anybody can bring their vehicle. We generally have people come here from several different counties.”

The event will begin at 5 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of Security Federal, located off Morford Street near downtown. The car show generally continues deep into the evening with drawings, door prizes and concessions. Live entertainment will be provided by oldies rock n’ roll band EZ Rider.
