Plott, Blunt wed in Nashville

Sara Elizabeth Plott became the bride of Travis Edward Blunt April 30 in a ceremony at Vine Street Christian Church in Nashville. The double ring ceremony was officiated by Pastor Jim Brangenberg. Musical presentations were provided by Nashville Chamber Players.

The bride’s parents are Edward and Brenda Plott. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Zurcher; Delores and the late Ed Plott.

The bridegroom is the son of Edward and Patricia Blunt of Brentwood. His grandparents are Harvey and Mary Davis; Mary and the late Ellis Blunt.

The bride, escorted to the alter by her father, was lovely in an ivory strapless A-line gown with a full lace overlay and satin band at waist from Private Collection. Her ivory single layer fingertip length veil was adorned with pearl accents. She carried white and pink roses and white peonies hand-tied with ivory satin ribbon.

Lindsay Plott, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mandi Prater, cousin of the bride; Erika Roberts, Heather Cantrell, Shannon Hendricks and Jessica Jackson, friends of the bride. Abigail Rabenstein, the bride’s cousin, was the junior bridesmaid.

They were attired in mauve satin gowns with ivory organza trim. The halter bodice was attached to an A-line tea length skirt. Each attendant carried a bouquet of hand-tied roses.

Ashley Rabenstein, the bride’s cousin, was the flower girl and she wore an ivory sleeveless satin gown accented with ribbon at the waist. She carried a pink flowered pomander with pink satin ribbon.

Stephen Laurenzano, friend of the groom, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Ryan Matthew, brother of the groom; Andrew Sims, Jason Brice, Kai Theijte and Bryan Picklesimer, groom’s friends.

The guest register was attended by Erin Wilson and Emily Stiles.

The wedding reception for the bridal couple was hosted by the bride’s parents at the Nashville Marriott.

The new Mrs. Blunt received a bachelor of business administration from Middle Tennessee State University and works as a recruiter with Spherion.

The groom graduated from MTSU with a bachelor of science in aerospace pro-pilot. He is a pilot for Continental Express.

After a Caribbean cruise for their honeymoon, the couple is residing in Nolensville.
