Arsenic and Old Lace now playing

While “Mortimer Brewster,” played by Morgan Underwood, is “tied up” with some family business, “Officer O’Hara,” played by Jarrod Werndli, takes advantage of the opportunity to pitch his idea for a new play he hopes to write in a scene from the ongoing Community Playhouse production of the classic comedy, Arsenic and Old Lace.

The show opened Sept. 17 at the South Jackson Civic Center in Tullahoma, with a special 50th Anniversary celebration reception following the performance.

Additional performances are slated for Sept. 18, 24, and 25 at 7:30 p.m. and Sept. 19, at 2 p.m. Ticket prices are $10 for adults, $9 for senior citizens age 65 and older, and $8 for students. A “Buy One Get One Free” special will be offered for today’s matinee performance.

Tickets can be picked up at the box office two hours before each show.

Season Tickets are also available at $30 for adults, $27 for Senior Citizens, and $24 for students.
