Registrations forms for participation in a day of fun for those age 60 or older should be turned in, in person, to the Senior Center at 809 Morrison St. no later than Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. Pick up your meal ticket at the time you register!

“Advance registration is required for participation in Senior Day at the Fair Beauty Show and Fun Festival contests and meal,” noted Cheryl Watson Mingle, director of the Senior Center, who encourages all seniors to take part in the games or enjoy the fun from the grandstands.

“A Basic Client Information Form will be required if you plan to participate in any contest, be eligible for door prize drawings or to eat lunch,” Mingle said.

The Senior Citizens Fun Fest will get under way at 8:30 a.m. Anyone who won first prize in any event for the past two years will be considered an honorary entry in that event and will not be eligible for a prize.
