Ross hears 87-person docket
An 87-person docket was heard Thursday by Judge Larry Ross in General Sessions Traffic Court.
Included in court action:
• Phillip R. Reed was ordered to serve 75 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence, pay $50 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for three years for fourth-offense driving on a revoked license.
• John J. Bell and Brandon N. Loader were directed to serve five days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $350 plus costs and forfeit their driver’s licenses for one year for DUI.
• Santiago Lopez was instructed to serve five days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $360 plus costs and forfeit his driver’s license for one year for DUI and driving without a license.
• Tina S. Turner was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $50 plus costs, perform eight hours public service work and forfeit her driver’s license for one year for driving on a suspended license.
• James D. Farmer was instructed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence and pay $10 plus costs for driving without a license.
• Pueblito R.B. Barcenus, Arturo R. Ramirez and Maria G. Garcia were fined $10 plus costs for driving without a license.
• Percy L. Pinegar was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $10 plus costs and perform 16 hours public service work for reckless driving.
• Tracy M. Goforth was fined $10 plus costs for leaving the scene of an accident.
• Johnny Mize was given a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $10 plus costs and make restitution for leaving the scene of an accident.
• Mark S. Layne was handed a six-month probationary sentence and must pay $250 plus costs for simple possession of marijuana.
• Halton W. Hicks was directed to serve 30 days of an 11-29 sentence for passing a worthless check and violation of probation.
• Shannon Pleasant must serve 48 hours and have probation extended by six months for violation of probation.
• Butch H. Stevens must serve 10 days for failure to appear in court.
• Dustin Chumley must serve 60 days for violation of probation.
• Patricia Brady must serve 10 days for violation of probation.
• Hilario Macias must serve 48 hours for violation of probation.
