Where’s the fire station’s flag?

TO THE EDITOR:

Regarding Fire Station 2, I would like to say this is a good-looking building and one that we can be proud of, but I do have one complaint. The sign at the road should have been positioned to be square with the building, not the road.

Also, I noticed there is not a flag pole in front of the building. Why not? Also, what is the concrete structure out back of the building? Will there be caution lights for emergency vehicles entering the road?

There needs to be because of the curve on the Old Smithville Road. This could be a hazard to traffic as well as emergency vehicles entering the road. Would someone please shed some light on these questions?
