Dessie Essel Moffitt, 73
A factory worker and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late Dalt and Nora Baker Delon, and was preceded in death by her husband, John Moffitt.
She is survived by son, Marvin Moffitt of Spencer; grandchildren, Jason and Gerrold Moffitt and Carrie Childers; four great-grandchildren; and brother, Glenn Delon of Indiana.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Love-Cantrell & Cope Funeral Home Spencer Chapel with Olen Mooneyham officiating.
Burial will follow at Shockley Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. today and 8 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the Spencer Chapel.
