March 1: Phone, walk-up orders for Sounds tickets start
Individual game tickets will be available to fans exclusively by using the team’s online ticketing system on and after Monday, Feb. 23 — a full week before phone/walk-up sales commence. For the first time in team history, all 10,139 seats at Greer Stadium will be available for online purchase.
Fans can log on to www.nashvillesounds.com, visit the schedule page and click on the “Buy Tickets” link on the desired home game(s) to select their seats and purchase their tickets. Ticket prices for the 2004 season are $10 for lower reserved seats, $8 for upper reserved seats and $6 for general admission seats. Children 12 and under and seniors receive a $1 discount.
The Sounds’ box office at Greer Stadium, which accepts phone and walk-up orders for individual game tickets, will initiate its ticket sales at 6 a.m. Monday, March 1. The box office is located at 534 Chestnut St. and can be reached by dialing 242-4371, ext. 2.
Box office hours are as follows, beginning March 1:
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. (6 a.m.-6 p.m. on March 1 ONLY)
Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Sunday, closed
Note: On home game dates, the box office is open from 9 a.m. until conclusion of game.
The Pittsburgh Pirates’ Triple-A affiliate will host 72 games at Greer Stadium during their 27th season, beginning with the 7 p.m. home opener on Thursday, April 8, against the Colorado Springs Sky Sox.
