Rotary locks up first place
Justin Fults picked up the win for Rotary going six innings while Andy Southard took the loss for Central Oil. For Rotary, Todd Dunn and Mark Tidenburg collected two hits. Dexter Hillis and Justin Fults had one hit each with Hillis scoring three runs. For Central Oil, Rob Hamby had two hits and Andy Southard added one hit.
Dunn came in to pitch the seventh for Rotary as he picked up the save by striking out three batters in a row.
In other action, Sundrop downed First National Bank 19-5. For Sundrop, Evan Martin had three hits and John Blair added two hits. Cody Adcock, John Roberts, Terrell Mathis, Nathan Page and J.R. Drake had one hit each with Drake crossing the plate three times.
For First National, Paul Lawson Prater and Corey Sullivan had two hits each. John Grissom, Matt Shields, Jackson Ewton and Bryan Thurman added one hit each.
Brandon Hodge picked up the win and Corey Sullivan suffered the loss.
