Louella Scott Grissom, 96
McMinnville resident and Warren County native Louella Scott Grissom, 96, died March 19 at NHC Healthcare after an extended illness.
A homemaker and a member of East End Church of Christ, she was the daughter of Joe and Plummer Adair Scott; and was preceded in death by her husband, Bem Clifton Grissom in 1991; honorary parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fly; and brother, Lawrence Scott; and son-in-law, Everett (Frog) Rogers of McMinnville.
She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Ben and Dorothy Clifton Grissom Jr. of Morrison, Elbert Lee and Mae Grissom of McMinnville; daughter, Sara Frances of McMinnville; grandchildren and their spouses, Melissa and Marty Mullins, Terry and Mary Grissom, Barbara Rogers, Annette and John Dodson, all of McMinnville, Sharon and David Reed, Dawn and Kirk Myers, all of Morrison, Sandra and Kenneth Odineal of Centerotwn; great-grandchildren, Thomas and Josh Mullins, Betsy and David Reed, Kali Myers, Brittany Grissom, Toby and Tiffany Watts, Chad Rogers, Justin, Dakota, Skylar and Austin Odineal, all of McMinnville; and great-great-grandchildren, Alexis and Chase Rogers.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at High’s Chapel with Gary Colley officiating. Burial will follow at Bascom Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at High’s.

Roy William Mullican, 94
McMinnville resident and Warren County native Roy William Mullican, 94, died March 17 at NHC Healthcare after an extended illness.
A carpet manufacturing employee and a member of Temple Baptist Church, he was the son of K.D. and Jennie Blankenship Mullican; and was preceded in death by his wife, Florence Parker in 1976; brothers, Ernest and Alfred Mullican; sister, Grace Mullican Strong; stepsisters, Amelia Atnip and Ruby Atnip; and stepbrother, Alton Walker.
He is survived by sister, Crystal Mullican Pherreigo of Montrose, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Salem Cemetery with Rev. Jim Tollison officiating.
High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Leona Lee Bouldin, 85
McMinnville resident and Cowan native Leona Lee Bouldin, 85, died March 19 at Raintree Manor after an extended illness.
A homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, she was the daughter of Hamp and Ellen Smith Finchum; and was preceded in death by her husband, Kelton Bouldin; and sister, Louise Brown.
She is survived by sisters, Bessie Brown of Cowan and Lena Javor of Westville, Ind.; brother, John Finchum of Monteplier, Ohio; and grandchild, Johnny Bouldin of McMinnville.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. today at High’s Chapel with burial following at Center Hill Cemetery at Hills Creek.

Pearl Thomison Boyd, 102
Spencer resident and Van Buren County native Pearl Thomison Boyd, 102, died March 19 at NHC Healthcare after an extended illness.
A homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ, she was the daughter of John and Calista Payne Thomison; and was preceded in death by her husband, Arteamus W. (Team) Boyd in 1976; daughter, Ruby Martin; great-grandson, Tim Mix; brothers, Henry, Bill, Floyd and Marion Thomison; and sisters, Mae Hillis, Maude Gilbert and Myra Beasley.
She is survived by son, Ed Boyd of Rocky River; 11 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 30 great-great-grandchildren and four great-great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at High Funeral Home with John Leonetti and Oscar Groves officiating. Burial will follow at White Hill Cemetery in Van Buren County. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until time of the service Thursday at High’s.

Beecher Myers, 63
Rock Island resident and Grundy County native Beecher Myers, 63, died March 15 at River Park Hospital after an extended illness.
A steel worker with Powermatic and a member of the Baptist Church, he was the son of George and Buennie Rizner Myers; and was preceded in death by brother, Vernon Myers.
He is survived by son, Beecher Myers Jr. of Rock Island; daughter and son-in-law, Kay and Jack Haston of Rock Island; grandchildren, Nicholas Ryan Myers, Chanae Danielle Myers and Steven Chad Myers; stepbrother, James Rollins of McMinnville; halfbrother, Arthur Myers of McMinnville; halfsisters, Georgia Bawldin of Summitville and Irene McBride of McMinnville; grandchild, Steven Chad Haston; several nieces and nephews.
Services were held Sunday at High’s Chapel with Bill Hall officiating. Burial followed at Little Johnny Cemetery in Grundy County.
