Paul Nelson Walker, 77
An employee of Standard Auto Parts for 43 years, a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and American Legion Post 173, he served his country in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
The son of Joe and Aline Cantrell Walker, he is survived by his wife, Fatama Phillips Walker; children and spouses, Jeffery and Tina Walker, and John DeBart Walker, all of McMinnville, Paula Jane and Kenny Manners of Brentwood; grandchildren, Krissy Gladders of Knoxville, Ryan, Shawn, and Nick Manners of Brentwood, Justin Walker of McMinnville, Lauren and Kayla Walker of Murfreesboro; sisters, Levona Parker and Joyce Ann Simmons of Morrison, niece, Teresa Austin of Morrison and nephews, Vernon and Howard Parker.
Services were held Saturday at High’s Chapel with Royce Martin and Wilson Williams officiating. Burial followed at Bethel Cemetery in DeKalb County.
High Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
