Harlan, Ky., resident (formerly of McMinnville and Campaign) and Warren County native Lillie May Clark, 77, was born Aug. 25, 1930 and died June 20 at Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital in Harlan. A retired librarian at Magness Memorial Library, retired employee of Kuhn’s 5 & 10 and Lay’s 5 & 10, and member of McMinnville First Baptist Church, she was the daughter of the late Troy Beacher and Myra Louada Safley Clark. She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law, Joanne and Gordon Hollins of Harlan; nephew and his wife, Greg and Laurie Hollins of Harlan; niece, Amelia Hollins Gagiliano of Vaccaville, Calif.; great-nieces and great-nephews, Forrest, Zachary and Leah C. Hollins of Harlan. A host of other friends and family also survive Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in High’s Chapel with Rev. Steve Angus officiating. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service Monday at High’s. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Magness Memorial Library. High Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
